Day 3 - my little girl. Wow-tears to my eyes again. This little being is magic.

We just arrived home 2 hours ago - a small adventure that began with packing this little one into a car seat, placing a pair of trousers onto her for the first time (in the hospital she wore a top and a diaper), and taking 3 trips up our 2-story staircase with our 4 bags and car seat. Mimi was winded walking up the stairs on her own - she has taken a beating in this birth and will take a few months to recover completely.

Home is warm, full of light, cozy and clean for this little one. We are content, as is she. The two of them are in our bedroom right now, feeding. Mimi caught a 1 hour nap, and I woke her up by bringing her little girl to her, placing her down by her side for a side feeding. What a wonderful way to nurse!
